Thank you Darnell McKinnon!
I purchased this book in early January of 2020. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when reading it. My credit wasn’t bad, but it needed some improvement. I had a credit score of 636. I thought I knew all I needed to know about managing my credit score. I was wrong. I like this book because it broke down credit in a simple way. It was a quick easy read. My score has been trending up these past couple of months. I recommend this book to everyone.
As someone with a poor credit score, I had a difficult time grasping the idea of having good credit. I remember watching car commercials and hearing the words, “For well qualified buyers,” and wondering how people were able to achieve being a well-qualified buyer. I assumed you had to be wealthy.
After years of research, along with bumps and bruises with my personal finances, I discovered wealth is not needed to achieve a good or excellent credit score. However, understanding and knowing the concept of credit is needed. This book teaches you the concept of credit, which in return will lead to improving your credit score. This book is for anyone who wants to improve their personal credit; whether their score is poor, fair, or good.
